Step 1

Melt caramels in evaporated milk.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix melted butter, Devils Food cake mix (dry), evaporated milk, and chopped pecans.

Step 3

Lightly grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Press 1/2 of the mixture into the pan. Bake at 350 F for 6 minutes.

Step 4

Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Pour caramel over chips. Crumble rest of cake mix evenly over top.

Step 5

Bake at 350 F for 15-18 minutes. Do not over bake. Serve at room temp.
