Country Meat Loaf

Ingredients
- 3 slices bread
- 1 medium onion
- celery
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- carrot
- 1 egg
- salt
- pepper
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, tear bread and add sautéed onion and celery.
Step 2
Add lean ground beef, carrot, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
Step 3
Stir in tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4
Shape mixture into a loaf pan.
Step 5
Combine brown sugar, cider vinegar, mustard, and remaining tomato sauce for the glaze. Pour over loaf.
Step 6
Bake at 350 F for 1.75 hours.
