Donna's Tomato Pie

Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie shell
- 5 tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp basil
- garlic
- 3/4 cup mayo
- 1 1/4 cup grated cheddar
Instructions
Step 1
Bake 9-inch pie shell at 375 F for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Layer tomatoes in the shell, sprinkling each layer with salt, pepper, basil, and garlic.
Step 3
Combine mayo and grated cheddar. Spread over tomatoes.
Step 4
Bake at 300 F for 35 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
