Jane's Kung Pao Chicken

Ingredients
- chicken
- salt
- white pepper
- chinese cooking wine
- dark soy sauce
- baking soda
- oil
- sichuan pepper
- garlic
- red
- cucumber
- carrot
- corn starch
- dark soy sauce
- white sugar
- white/rice vinegar
- cucumber
- carrot
- peanuts
Instructions
Step 1
Cut chicken into cubes. Marinate with salt, white pepper, chinese cooking wine, dark soy sauce, baking soda. Put oil in last. Mix well and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Step 2
Next, fry sichuan pepper, chopped garlic, and red chili in oil for a couple minutes.
Step 3
Add the marinated chicken and cook.
Step 4
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce and slice the cucumber and carrot. For the sauce, add corn starch, dark soy sauce, white sugar, and white/rice vinegar.
Step 5
Once chicken is cooked add sliced cucumber, sliced carrot, peanuts, and pour over the sauce.
