Mom's Lasagna

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground meat
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 can canned tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 4 cups cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 lb mozzarella
- 4 tbsp parsley
Instructions
Adapted from Carole Lemmon's lasagna recipe by her daughter Tracey McCarthy.
Step 1
Brown ground meat and pour off fat. Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, canned tomatoes, and tomato paste. Cook for 45 minutes.
Step 1
Combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parmesan, and oregano.
Step 1
Layer meat sauce, cheese mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining parsley.
Step 2
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes uncovered, then 20 minutes covered.
